Metalien accounts with the Verified badge ✴️ next to their usernames mean that Metalien has verified that the person or brand exists. The Verified badge does not convey importance, authority, or expertise. The Verified badge ✴️ is not an endorsement or approval of a public figure or brand.

The Verified badge ✴️ is a tool to help users find authentic accounts of relevant people and brands. If an account has a Verified badge, it means that we have confirmed that it represents the identity it claims. Metalien accounts may not impersonate public figures or other users, and violating this Community Guidelines will result in a ban from Metalien.

The requirements for a Verified Badge on Metalien

If you are a public figure, celebrity, or brand, and meet the account and eligibility requirements described below, you can apply for the verified badge.

We evaluate Metalien accounts based on a variety of factors to determine if they meet our verification standards. In addition to complying with the Metalien Terms of Service and Community Guidelines listed below, your account must also meet the following criteria:

• Authentic: Represents a real user, registered business, or entity.

• Unique: Represents a unique user or business. Each user or business can only have one verified account, except for accounts in other languages. We do not verify accounts that represent general interests (for example: @Pet Lover).

• Complete: Your account must be public, have a username, nickname, bio, and avatar, and be active at the time of verification.

• Well-known: Your account must represent a well-known user, brand, or entity that is frequently searched for. We review accounts mentioned in multiple news sources and do not review paid or sponsored media content as news sources.

• Before applying for the Verified badge, please make sure your account is correct. Once verified, you cannot easily change your account information.

• If you obtain a verification badge using false or misleading information during the verification process, we will remove your verified badge and may take additional steps to deactivate your account.

How to apply for the Metalien Verified Badge

If you are a public figure, celebrity or brand and meet certain account and eligibility requirements, you can apply for a verified badge by following the instructions below:

Please send an email to [e-mail] using the email address you signed up with in the following format:

• Subject: Apply for Metalien Certified Badge

• Body: Please tell us your: Username, Nickname, Profile of the person you want to be certified (which will be visible to all users after certification) and other information that can prove your certification. Please note that while Metalien will protect all information you provide in accordance with its privacy policy, please avoid providing personal information that is not relevant or necessary for certification.

After submitting your application, we will send you a notification within 30 days via the Message Center or account email to inform you of the review result. You do not need to submit a second application. For more information, please see What to do after applying for Metalien Verified Badge.

What to do after applying for Metalien Verified Badge

Once your application has been reviewed, we will notify you of the outcome of the review within 30 days of submitting your application via the Message Center or your account email. If your application is rejected, you will have 30 days to resubmit your application. Please note that repeatedly submitting the same verified badge before the review is completed will result in your application being cancelled. Remember that Metalien can remove your verified badge at any time. Metalien may revoke your badge or disable your account if you:

• Promote, transfer, or sell your verified badge.

• Promote other services or activities that violate our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service in your avatar, signature, or name section.

• Attempt to verify your account through a third party.

• Frequently switch your account from public to private.

Note:

• If you provide false or misleading information during the certification process, we will remove your certification badge and may take additional steps to deactivate your account.

• Metalien may contact you for certification via the Message Center or your account email.

Where to display your Verified Badge in Metalien

Once your Metalien account is verified, your verified badge will be visible to others. Your verified badge can be seen in:

• Your profile

• In the comments section, next to your profile picture

• In search results, next to your name and profile picture

• In private messages, next to your profile picture

• In your post feed

How do I report a Metalien account with a fake Verified Badge?

If you believe a Metalien account with a badge does not represent a brand, media company, public figure, real business or organization, you can report the public page. To report a public page with a fake verified badge:

• Subject: Report Metalien Verified Badge Account

• Body: Please tell us as much as possible in your email about your reason for reporting so that we can better process your request.
